The inner workings of Rudolph & Van Vuuren happen literally one door up from the Head Office. There are four
main departments with regards to granite and marble in the workshop which handle and prepare the tiles for
commercial and private use:
mosaic department
There is a separate department catering exclusively for our mosaic tiles. Once the tiles have been cut, ground and polished they go to the Mosaic department where they are sorted, arranged into their various patterns, and fixed onto the mosaic backing.
polishing department
Lastly, the finished tiles are polished to a pristine shine and sealed to ensure their superior quality.
grinding department
The tiles are then ground to the exact specifications and finishes required by the client.
cutting department
The materials are cut into workable sizes by state of the art machinery and then handed over to craftsmen who cut the tiles into the exact sizes needed.
